January 26 2004--Inheriting her family’s Vermont Inn gives down-on-her-luck Sabrina Monroe plenty of headaches and not enough money to buy pain relief. She was taken in once by her ex-fiancé, a so-called businessman who wanted to “look after her interests,” when all he cared about was gaining possession of her land. The last thing Sabrina is looking for is another frog to kiss.

The very last thing Jason O’Neill, a business tycoon known as the "Acquisiton King," is qualified to do is impersonate a handyman, when Sabrina mistakes him for a ridiculously upscale (and under-prepared) handyman. His mission is to talk Sabrina into selling her property to Colonial Golf Resorts. The case of mistaken identity allows the city charmer to think he can use his savvy business skills to negotiate a deal during his repairman stint.

But, what happens when he begins to find the innkeeper’s spunk and resilience irresistible? Jason has no illusions about love, having put his heart before his career once before. The last thing he’s looking for is another damsel in distress to rescue.
